Remembering those who have lost their battle to Covid-19
It’s difficult to comprehend the sense of hurt & pain families are going through in isolation who have lost loved ones to this frightening virus, Covid-19. Median age is 81, a generation who we owe so much to are slipping away with little or no recognition, other than a statistical number during daily press briefings & news bulletins. Might we, now show our respect this Easter Sunday @ 12 noon; ask local parishes to ring church bells (if physical distancing is safe) and each of us stand at our front door, head bowed for a minutes silence to remember those who have passed & families who are grieving in isolation.
