Baptism_Plain

Baptisms take place in Sallynoggin on Saturdays. The time for Saturday’s Baptism is 12.00pm.

You will come to present your child for Baptism. By water and the Holy Spirit he/she is to receive the gift of new life from God, who is love. On your part, you must make it your constant care to bring him/her up in the practice of the faith. See that the divine life which God gives him/her is kept safe from the poison of sin, to grow always stronger in his/her heart.

In preparation for Baptism our Parish Baptism Team will meet you in the parish meeting room.

Both parents are  required to be present at this meeting and if possible the Godparents.

Only one Godparent (over 16 years of age) is necessary but if you choose to have two Godparents, there must be one male and one female.

To book your child’s baptism please contact the parish office (located at the rear of the presbytery), your child’s birth certificate is required when booking the baptism.
